This role is responsible for the successful end-to-end execution of initiatives impacting Carnival&#8217;s financial systems globally, ensuring adherence to PMO standards, managing scope, budget, and risk for multiple high-dollar projects simultaneously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> Miami, FL (Remote hubs in FL, GA, TX, NC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full Time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> Minimum <strong>5 years<\/strong> as an Application Development Project Manager within IT\/Finance organizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certification:<\/strong> <strong>PMP certification is required<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Focus:<\/strong> Managing financial application projects, implementation of a new PM system, vendor\/contract management, and driving risk resolution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Essential Functions: Accountability and High-Stakes Delivery<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Project Manager is expected to be fully accountable for the implementation of complex, high-risk projects, driving both technical teams and stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Project Ownership &amp; Accountability:<\/strong> Must be able to <strong>manage and own multiple high-dollar, high-risk projects simultaneously<\/strong> and be accountable for their successful implementations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Core PM Functions:<\/strong> Develop, implement, and maintain the Project schedule and Plan. <strong>Manage scope, timeline, and budget<\/strong> for projects and hold others accountable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Risk and Issue Management:<\/strong> <strong>Identify key issues, risks, and mitigation plans<\/strong> and be able to drive resolution. <strong>Escalate issues<\/strong> as required to Senior Management to remove obstacles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Leadership and Team Management:<\/strong> Provide <strong>leadership and direction<\/strong> to the project team, manage cross-team dependencies, and encourage collaboration between project team members and across Brands.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vendor &amp; PMO Systems:<\/strong> Assists in managing Statements of Work (SOWs). <strong>Instrumental in the implementation and roll out of a new GFiT project management system<\/strong> to enhance portfolio reporting capabilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Financial Applications Focus:<\/strong> Experience in application development or package implementation projects and release management, with familiarity in <strong>Oracle eBusiness Suite, MarkView, and Hyperion<\/strong> being a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required Qualifications: PMP and IT\/Finance Domain<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Success requires a blend of formal project management certification, deep experience in IT\/Finance projects, and comfort operating in a large, complex, and culturally diverse environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s degree with a <strong>Finance \/ IT discipline<\/strong> from an accredited college\/university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certification:<\/strong> <strong>PMP certification is required<\/strong>. Formal training in the system development life cycle is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> Minimum <strong>5 years\u2019 experience as an Application Development project manager<\/strong> within IT \/ Finance organizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PM Tools Proficiency:<\/strong> Experience with <strong>MS Office Suite (including PowerPoint), Visio, and Microsoft Project<\/strong>.
