This role involves deep technical troubleshooting, debugging, and system administration, with a focus on <strong>scaling the support offering through automation and code<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> <strong>Remote (Contiguous United States)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Work Hours:<\/strong> Must be comfortable working <strong>9 AM &#8211; 6 PM EST<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Base Salary Range:<\/strong> <strong>$108,000 \u2013 $148,500 USD<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Focus:<\/strong> Cloud security product support, Kubernetes, debugging, and automation\/scripting for a global customer base.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities: Troubleshooting, Ownership, and Automation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The engineer is responsible for owning complex issues, driving them to resolution, and contributing to the scalability of the support function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Technical Support Ownership:<\/strong> Responsible for the technical customer support experience within the Wiz product. <strong>Own, troubleshoot, and solve<\/strong> technical issues using best practices and transparency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Incident Management:<\/strong> Identify cases requiring escalation (technical or strategic). Create, maintain, and coordinate <strong>incident management requests<\/strong> to the product or engineering teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scaling and Automation:<\/strong> <strong>Design and implement solutions<\/strong> that scale the support offering through automation and scripting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>On-Call Rotation:<\/strong> Participate in the <strong>on-call rotation<\/strong> for after-hours, holiday, and weekend support coverage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required Skills &amp; Experience: Cloud, Kubernetes, and Code<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Success requires a strong background in customer-facing technical roles, deep familiarity with major cloud platforms, and hands-on container orchestration experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> <strong>5+ years<\/strong> of hands-on technical experience in customer support, technical support, or system administration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cloud Expertise:<\/strong> <strong>2+ years experience<\/strong> with Cloud technologies (<strong>Azure, AWS, GCP<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kubernetes:<\/strong> <strong>1+ years of hands-on experience<\/strong> designing, deploying, and managing <strong>production-grade Kubernetes clusters<\/strong> and custom applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Coding\/Debugging:<\/strong> Experience in reading or debugging code in one or more of the following: <strong>Java, Python, Shell, JavaScript, JSON<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Operating System:<\/strong> Proficiency with <strong>command-line tools and Linux operating system environments<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Legal Requirement:<\/strong> Must meet EAR part 772 and ITAR 120.15 definition of a <strong>U.S. person<\/strong> and reside in the contiguous United States.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nice to Have:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience with <strong>DevOps technologies<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with <strong>REST APIs or GraphQL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of web and networking fundamentals (<strong>HTTP, DNS, TCP\/IP, Routing, Load Balancing<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wiz, a leader in cloud security, is seeking a Solutions Support Engineer to provide outstanding technical support for their cloud security platform.
