This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of Wi-Fi systems, from on-site physical installation and configuration to remote monitoring and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> <strong>Remote<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Work Type:<\/strong> <strong>Part Time<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Travel:<\/strong> Up to <strong>25% nationwide<\/strong> for on-site work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Security:<\/strong> Ability to pass a U.S. federal government background security check, or <strong>Public Trust<\/strong> clearance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities: Wi-Fi Lifecycle Management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This role requires a blend of hands-on physical work, remote troubleshooting, project management, and compliance adherence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Installation &amp; Configuration:<\/strong> Responsible for Guest Wi-Fi systems <strong>installation, specification determination, configuration<\/strong>, monitoring, troubleshooting, and administration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>On-Site Support (25% Travel):<\/strong> Travel to support <strong>on-site installation<\/strong> of network hardware, conduct testing, adjust configurations, <strong>produce heat maps<\/strong>, complete surveys, and update documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Project Management &amp; Reporting:<\/strong> Support IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget. Create and maintain network documentation, <strong>hardware inventories, status reports, KPIs, and metrics data<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Troubleshooting &amp; Security:<\/strong> Troubleshoot associated hardware\/software <strong>remotely and on-site<\/strong>. Maintain the <strong>security and stability<\/strong> of the network solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Service Desk:<\/strong> Create, track, and resolve service desk action items and tickets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required Skills &amp; Experience: Wireless Networking &amp; Federal Compliance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The ideal candidate has proven experience managing wireless networks and is familiar with federal IT standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> <strong>3\u20135 years<\/strong> in operations and maintenance of systems and networks, specifically with <strong>installing, monitoring, and maintaining multiple wireless networks<\/strong> remotely and on-site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clearance:<\/strong> Ability to obtain and maintain at a minimum <strong>Public Trust<\/strong> government clearance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Soft Skills:<\/strong> Ability to <strong>rapidly prioritize competing requirements<\/strong>, simplify customer requirements, and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Desired Qualifications (Highly Preferred):<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Familiarity with Government Policies and Procedures related to IT implementation (<strong>NIST 800-171<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certifications preferred: <strong>CCNA; CCNE; MSFT Engineer; CompTIA+; CISSP; or similar<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of the DoD and\/or Veteran environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Green Technology Group, LLC (TGTG) is seeking an Experienced, Part-Time System Administrator to support their Guest Wireless Service delivery program for Federal and Commercial Markets.
