The role is focused on the migration and maintenance of the <strong>S\/4HANA system<\/strong> and its server architecture within a <strong>Windows and Amazon cloud environment<\/strong>, while ensuring stringent security controls, particularly regarding <strong>inmate access<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> <strong>Remote, US<\/strong> (Hiring focus in 20 specified states).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Level:<\/strong> Mid-Level (Functioning as a senior consultant).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Focus:<\/strong> S\/4HANA, Cloud Migration, SAP Basis Security, and STIG Compliance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities: Administration, Security, and Project Leadership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The administrator will provide hands-on technical support, strategic advice, and project management expertise for the entire SAP landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>S\/4HANA Management:<\/strong> Provide <strong>SAP Basis administration assistance<\/strong> for both the current <strong>SAP ECC<\/strong> system and the upgraded <strong>S\/4 HANA system<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Security &amp; Compliance:<\/strong> Assist with <strong>securing inmate access<\/strong> in the SAP environment. Requires a working knowledge of <strong>STIGs<\/strong> (Security Technical Implementation Guides) for a SAP HANA database.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Project &amp; Strategy:<\/strong> Provide <strong>project management expertise<\/strong> and <strong>senior-level consulting<\/strong> in SAP Basis administration. Research and plan the new system development lifecycle for S\/4HANA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Integration &amp; Configuration:<\/strong> Assist with SAP Basis configuration of SAP ERP systems and management of <strong>third-party interfaces<\/strong> (OpenText, ShipERP, PBS archiving).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Knowledge Transfer:<\/strong> Provide guidance, training, and knowledge transfer to current FPI staff on a regular schedule.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minimum Qualifications: Specialized Federal Experience Required<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This role requires a highly specific mix of SAP, project management, and government security experience, with the technical knowledge to stand up a HANA system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>SAP Basis Experience:<\/strong> Minimum of <strong>three (3) years<\/strong> of experience as an SAP Basis resource.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Consulting &amp; Installation:<\/strong> Minimum of <strong>two (2) years<\/strong> of experience consulting as an SAP Basis Administrator with knowledge of a <strong>fresh install of a Linux-based HANA database<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Configuration &amp; Project Management:<\/strong> Minimum of <strong>two (2) years<\/strong> of experience in both <strong>project management<\/strong> and <strong>SAP configuration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Security &amp; Cloud:<\/strong> Minimum of <strong>one (1) year<\/strong> of experience assisting with securing inmate access in the SAP landscape (including the upgraded HANA system in a <strong>Cloud environment<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Compliance:<\/strong> A <strong>working knowledge of STIGs<\/strong> for a SAP HANA database is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clearance Eligibility:<\/strong> Must be a U.S. citizen<strong> or Green Card holder<\/strong> and meet residency requirements to be eligible for a government security investigation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gen3 Technology Consulting (a Woman-Owned Small Business) is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to provide expertise and senior-level consulting to Federal Prison Industries (FPI\/UNICOR).
