This role is accountable for enabling scalable, efficient, and integrated technology solutions to support organizational growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> <strong>Remote &#8211; US<\/strong> (Preferably based in Austin, Texas)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Focus:<\/strong> Workday HCM, Workday Financials, Strategic Systems Roadmap, and Operational Accounting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities: Full-Stack Workday Management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This position requires hands-on configuration, strategic roadmap ownership, complex reporting development, and strong integration\/change management skills across the HR and Finance domains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Workday Financials Leadership:<\/strong> Lead the design, development, and maintenance of <strong>Workday Financials<\/strong>. Execute configuration changes to Core Financials, Suppliers, Banking, Procurement, and Expenses modules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Complex Reporting:<\/strong> <strong>Build reports<\/strong> including balance sheets, income statements, account balance matrix, intercompany eliminations, and custom reports for People Analytics and Finance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>System Strategy &amp; Governance:<\/strong> Own the <strong>roadmap and execution<\/strong> of systems projects (integrations, upgrades, automations). Lead design, implementation, optimization, and governance of Workday and other enterprise systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Configuration &amp; Process:<\/strong> Design complex business processes, including <strong>calculated fields, conditional rules, and custom approver roles<\/strong>. Maintain and configure all key Workday HCM modules (Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Integration &amp; Compliance:<\/strong> Monitor and troubleshoot <strong>Workday integrations<\/strong> (payroll, benefits, ATS, finance). Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and confidentiality standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required Experience and Technical Depth:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The ideal candidate has a deep, proven background not just in Workday configuration, but in the underlying accounting principles that drive the Financials module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Workday HCM:<\/strong> <strong>5+ years of experience<\/strong> in People Operations or HRIS systems management, with <strong>direct experience in Workday HCM<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Workday Financials:<\/strong> Minimum <strong>3 years of hands-on technical experience in Workday Financials<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accounting\/Audit:<\/strong> Minimum <strong>3 years of operational accounting and financial IT controls audit experience<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Financial Expertise:<\/strong> Strong understanding of <strong>GL accounting behind operational transactions<\/strong>, including elimination entries and CTA (Cumulative Translation Adjustment) calculations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Integration Proficiency:<\/strong> Proven experience with system integrations for banks, credit cards, foreign exchange rates, and financial reconciliation systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nice to Have:<\/strong> Experience with <strong>Workday Accounting Center, EIBs, Workday Studio, or Workday Extend<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>8 am (formerly AffiniPay) is seeking a People Systems and Workday Administrator to serve as a strategic partner in managing and optimizing their People and Financial systems ecosystem, with a primary focus on Workday HCM and Workday Financials.
