This is a leadership role responsible for driving improved company performance through successful IT initiatives and directly managing the PM team and department budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> <strong>Hybrid<\/strong> role based in <strong>Downers Grove, Illinois<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Regular Full-Time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Focus:<\/strong> PMO development, budget oversight, and strategic project delivery in healthcare.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities: PMO Development and Budget Accountability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This role has ultimate accountability for the success of the IT portfolio, encompassing people, processes, and financials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Strategic Leadership:<\/strong> Serve as a <strong>strategic change agent<\/strong> to ensure the best projects are selected and successfully delivered, leading to realized business benefits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PMO Accountability:<\/strong> Be accountable for the delivery of the entire <strong>IT project portfolio<\/strong>. This includes the development and active management of the IT PMO&#8217;s <strong>people, processes, and tools\/technologies<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Team Management:<\/strong> Directly responsible for the team of employee and consultant project managers leading the projects. This includes <strong>leading and developing IT Product Managers<\/strong> and other stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Financial Oversight:<\/strong> <strong>Responsible and accountable for overseeing the IT department budget<\/strong>, including annual planning, monthly variance analysis, invoice management, and contract management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Executive Reporting:<\/strong> Create and manage clear, concise reports, dashboards, and web pages to communicate progress to senior leadership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Execution:<\/strong> Proactively drive high-priority initiatives forward with minimal direction, ensuring tight deadlines are met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications: Extensive PMO and Management Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful candidate must have significant experience leading both projects and people within the IT domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>IT Experience:<\/strong> <strong>10+ years of IT project management, PMO, or similar experience<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>People Management:<\/strong> <strong>5+ years of people management experience<\/strong> is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Attention to Detail:<\/strong> Strong organizational skills and <strong>obsessive attention to detail<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certifications (Preferred):<\/strong> Project management certification (<strong>PMP, Six Sigma,<\/strong> etc.) is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Technical Proficiency:<\/strong> Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Salesforce, Airtable) and experience working with <strong>data sets to extract meaningful insights<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor&#8217;s Degree from an accredited college.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A healthcare organization (Duly) is seeking a highly organized Senior IT Project Manager to serve as a strategic change agent, leading and elevating all aspects of the IT Project Management Office (PMO).
