This role specifically focuses on managing and controlling the <strong>OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) scope<\/strong>, which includes Gas and Steam Turbines, Generators, and Auxiliaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> <strong>Lake Mary, FL, US<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Travel:<\/strong> <strong>Up to 50%<\/strong> domestically and internationally.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities: Project Control and OEM Focus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The DPM acts as a key lieutenant to the Project Manager, ensuring critical financial, scheduling, and procurement deliverables are met with a heavy emphasis on the OEM supply chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Financial &amp; Schedule Control:<\/strong> Support the PM in tracking and managing <strong>financial and deliverable performance<\/strong> against the project baseline, including Earned Value Management (EVM) evaluation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>OEM Scope Management:<\/strong> A core focus is managing all <strong>OEM scope items<\/strong>, including:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tracking progress and resolving issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing official communications and <strong>Change Orders (COs)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working closely with Global Supply Chain on <strong>purchase orders, invoice approval, and back charge\/claim reimbursement<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing shipping plans and critical documentation with OEM factory teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Risk &amp; Change Management:<\/strong> Participate in risk management activities, including developing and updating the <strong>Project Risk Register<\/strong> and implementing mitigation strategies. Support project financial improvements through the <strong>change management<\/strong> process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Meetings &amp; Communication:<\/strong> Chair the weekly internal team meeting and actively participate in weekly external Customer\/Partner calls and key internal stakeholder meetings, coordinating and releasing meeting notes (actions, assignments, due dates).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements: Technical Background and Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This role requires a foundational technical education coupled with power generation industry experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> <strong>Bachelor&#8217;s degree (BS) in Engineering<\/strong> or related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> <strong>Four (4) plus years<\/strong> of related experience with <strong>power generation, EPCs, or OEMs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Technical Proficiency:<\/strong> Proficient in <strong>MS Office<\/strong>; familiarity with <strong>SAP<\/strong> and project scheduling is a plus.
