The State of Ohio (OhioMHAS)<\/strong> is seeking an experienced, certified Epic HIM Analyst<\/strong> to support the Health Information Management (HIM) module. This role is crucial for implementing, supporting, and optimizing HIM workflows within the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Overview and Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This analyst acts as the functional and technical expert for the Epic HIM suite, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient information management processes across the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Epic Module Administration:<\/strong> Configure, build, test, and maintain Epic HIM modules, including:\n
      \n
    • Release of Information (ROI)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Deficiency Tracking<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Identity<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Coding<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Document Management<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Workflow Optimization:<\/strong> Collaborate with HIM leadership and operational users to assess current workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business requirements into Epic functionality<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Compliance & Security:<\/strong> Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements<\/strong> (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission<\/strong>) in all HIM related Epic configurations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Support & Troubleshooting:<\/strong> Troubleshoot system issues, provide prompt support to HIM users, and support chart corrections<\/strong> using Epic tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Testing & Upgrades:<\/strong> Coordinate and execute testing plans<\/strong> for system upgrades and patches.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Reporting:<\/strong> Develop reports and dashboards<\/strong> related to HIM metrics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Identity Management:<\/strong> Work with Identity Management to resolve patient identity issues<\/strong> and maintain record accuracy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Required Expertise and Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      The position requires specific Epic certification and a strong functional understanding of Health Information Management operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
