We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient System Administrator<\/strong> to manage and optimize a hybrid cloud infrastructure and modern endpoint environment. This role demands deep expertise in Microsoft Azure<\/strong> and significant hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a Contract-to-Hire<\/strong> position located in Atlanta, Georgia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities: Cloud, Endpoint, and Leadership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The ideal candidate will be a technical leader, mentoring junior staff while ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of core IT systems with a heavy focus on Microsoft technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cloud & Server Infrastructure (Microsoft Azure Focus):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Administration & Optimization:<\/strong> Design, implement, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure core services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Monitoring) .<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Identity Management:<\/strong> Expertly manage and troubleshoot hybrid identity solutions<\/strong> using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)<\/strong> and traditional Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)<\/strong>, including SSO<\/strong> and conditional access<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Networking:<\/strong> Configure and maintain VNets, NSGs, VPNs, and ExpressRoute<\/strong> for secure cloud connectivity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Automation:<\/strong> Utilize PowerShell<\/strong> and Azure CLI to automate repetitive tasks and manage resource deployments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Endpoint Management (Intune\/MEM Focus):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • MDM\/MAM Administration:<\/strong> Serve as the subject matter expert for Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)<\/strong> for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Device Lifecycle:<\/strong> Configure and manage the lifecycle of corporate endpoints (Windows, iOS, Android) using Intune, including Autopilot<\/strong>, configuration profiles, and compliance policies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Troubleshooting:<\/strong> Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex endpoint, access, and application issues related to Intune and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      General System Administration & Leadership:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Mentorship:<\/strong> Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff and support teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Project Leadership:<\/strong> Lead infrastructure projects, including system upgrades and cloud migrations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Support:<\/strong> Participate in an on-call rotation<\/strong> for critical escalations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Required Experience and Technical Skills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        This is not an entry-level role; it requires significant, specialized experience in the Microsoft ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Experience:<\/strong> Minimum 7+ years<\/strong> of progressive experience in IT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Azure Expertise:<\/strong> 4+ years<\/strong> of expert-level experience managing complex environments in Microsoft Azure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Intune Expertise:<\/strong> Proven experience (2+ years strongly preferred)<\/strong> with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)<\/strong>, including enrollment, deployment, and policy creation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Automation:<\/strong> Expert proficiency with PowerShell<\/strong> for administration, automation, and reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Foundational Knowledge:<\/strong> Deep functional understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP<\/strong>, and Windows Server OS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Preferred Certifications:<\/strong> Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate AZ-104<\/strong>, Endpoint Administrator, or similar).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
