The Wildlife Conservation Network (WCN)<\/strong> is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator<\/strong> to manage, optimize, and integrate its core technology platforms, with a primary focus on Salesforce (NPSP)<\/strong> and related fundraising\/financial tools. This role is crucial for ensuring the technology ecosystem is robust, integrated, and secure to support the mission of protecting endangered wildlife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a Full-time, Remote<\/strong> position available anywhere in the United States. The salary range is $90,000 – $100,000 per year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position Summary and Salesforce Mandate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This Systems Administrator will be a detail-oriented, systems-savvy professional responsible for both technical operations and strategic initiatives, leveraging technology to analyze donor data and produce meaningful insights. The role heavily involves working with third-party application integrations and Salesforce’s Nonprofit Cloud features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

  • Salesforce Administration (NPSP):<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Share administration responsibilities for Salesforce NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Assist in launching the Nonprofit Cloud for Grantmaking portal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Support the implementation and ongoing administration of a Salesforce Experience Cloud\u2013based donor portal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Manage user access, permissions, licenses, and stay current on quarterly Salesforce releases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Data Analysis & Reporting:<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Utilize Salesforce Einstein Analytics<\/strong> to generate advanced donor insights and predictive models (giving behavior, retention risk, revenue forecasting).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Conduct analysis and present insights using data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Develop and track benchmarks and KPIs for donor engagement and revenue growth<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Systems Integration & API Management:<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party platforms<\/strong> (e.g., Springboard\/Classy, FreeWill, Hubspot, Sage Intacct, FormAssembly).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Configure and troubleshoot middleware or API connections (e.g., Zapier, Apsona, DataBlend, or custom scripts<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Assist with data syncing, ETL processes, and error resolution<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Evaluate and coordinate the implementation of improvements to the online donation platform<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Cross-Team Support:<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Collaborate with donor engagement, communications, programs, and finance teams to optimize data workflows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Provide staff and partner training and documentation<\/strong> to improve adoption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Required and Preferred Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

            The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of Salesforce administration experience, particularly within a nonprofit or fundraising context, and proficiency with integration tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Required Qualifications:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            • 3+ years of experience administering Salesforce (preferably NPSP)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Experience building and managing API integrations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Strong Salesforce Flow and process automation<\/strong> experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Proficiency with tools like Zapier, Apsona, DataBlend<\/strong>, or custom API development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Strong understanding of nonprofit operations<\/strong>, especially fundraising\/CRM workflows<\/strong> and outbound grants management<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Experience with data cleaning, migration, and validation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Familiarity with online payments, payment processors, and fraud detection\/mitigation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

              • Salesforce Administrator Certification<\/strong> (or equivalent experience).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Experience implementing Salesforce Einstein Analytics<\/strong> and\/or Salesforce Donor Portal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Experience implementing Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud for Grantmaking<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Familiarity with SQL, Python, Apex, CSS, or HTML<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Experience in Project Management<\/strong> and related tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
