Maximus<\/strong> is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator<\/strong> to join its Technology Solutions (TS) Team. This role is focused on managing and maintaining application server environments, with a specific emphasis on the Archibus Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS)<\/strong>, ensuring its security, reliability, and performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a Full-time, Remote<\/strong> position in the United States. The annual salary range is $135,000.00 \u2013 $150,000.00<\/strong>. U.S. Citizenship (without dual citizenship) is a contract requirement.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Summary and Archibus\/Windows Mandate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Senior Systems Administrator will serve as a pivotal resource responsible for both the application-level administration of Archibus and the underlying Windows Server and virtualized infrastructure. The role involves scripting, database querying, security compliance (NIST, ISO), and third-level support for critical incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job-Specific Essential Duties:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Archibus Administration:<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Oversee and support all Windows server roles:<\/strong> Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, group policy<\/strong>, Certificate Server Manager, and related services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Update and develop Java integrations<\/strong> to improve Archibus system alignment with end-user requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Query SQL and write SQL scripts<\/strong> to troubleshoot and remediate end-user data discrepancies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Server & Virtualization Management:<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Configure and manage Windows servers<\/strong>, including upgrades, patches, and security configurations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Support and manage the virtual environment (VMware)<\/strong> by troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and resource allocation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Develop scripts to streamline server administration processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Security & DR\/Backup:<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Recommend and implement backup and recovery strategies<\/strong>; confirm regular backups and recovery drills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Apply security best practices and adhere to compliance requirements (NIST, ISO)<\/strong> to safeguard sensitive information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Troubleshooting & Collaboration:<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Provide third-level support<\/strong> for critical incidents, diagnosing and resolving complex issues across the application technology stack (application, database, server).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Hardware, Network, Security, Firewall) and application developers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Maintain documentation and create\/update operational manuals and guidelines (SOPs)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
            \n\n\n\n

            Minimum Requirements and Core Skills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

            The candidate must have substantial enterprise IT experience, specific Windows and COTS application administration knowledge, and the required U.S. citizenship status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • Citizenship (Mandatory):<\/strong> Must be a U.S. Citizen without dual citizenship<\/strong> with another country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Experience:<\/strong>\n
                \n
              • Minimum 5 years\u2019 professional experience<\/strong> in an enterprise IT environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Hands-on experience with Application administration in a Windows Server environment: Apache Tomcat, Archibus, Certificates, IIS<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Experience administering COTS applications<\/strong> in an enterprise setting and vendor engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Technical Skills:<\/strong>\n
                  \n
                • Working knowledge supporting Windows Systems in an enterprise environment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Working knowledge of Java deployments and integrations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Working knowledge of SQL queries, scripts, and SQL Server clustering<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Familiarity with monitoring, backup, failover, and recovery procedures and tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s degree in a related field (or 4 years equivalent work experience).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
