Synapse Health<\/strong>, a company using technology to transform the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) industry ecosystem, is seeking a Senior System Administrator<\/strong>. This senior individual contributor role is critical for strengthening, securing, and scaling the company’s technology foundation, with a heavy focus on the Microsoft Azure\/Entra ID stack and driving automation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a Full-time, Fully Remote<\/strong> position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Summary and Infrastructure Ownership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Senior System Administrator will own complex, multi-month IT projects from planning through execution, and will be responsible for the reliability, security, and scalability of the entire technology environment. This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical expertise combined with cross-functional influence, partnering closely with the VP of IT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What You Will Do:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

  • Cloud & Identity Management:<\/strong> Configure, administer, and optimize Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)<\/strong>, Intune<\/strong>, and the broader Azure environment<\/strong> to support a secure, scalable workforce.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Automation & Scripting:<\/strong> Develop and maintain automation scripts (primarily PowerShell)<\/strong> to streamline system administration, provisioning, and policy enforcement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Project Leadership:<\/strong> Lead multi-month IT initiatives<\/strong> from project planning and stakeholder communication through execution and delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Endpoint Management:<\/strong> Support endpoint and device lifecycle management<\/strong>, including configuration, deployment, and security policies for a distributed workforce.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Policy & Compliance:<\/strong> Drive the development and implementation of enterprise-wide IT policies and standards<\/strong> to enhance reliability, security, and compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Vendor Management:<\/strong> Manage and optimize relationships with third-party vendors (e.g., Atlassian, Paylocity, Greenhouse<\/strong>) and assist with procurement, contracts, and tool selection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Tier 3 Support:<\/strong> Provide Tier 3 escalation support<\/strong> and conduct root-cause analysis<\/strong> for complex technical issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Mentorship:<\/strong> Mentor junior IT staff<\/strong>, fostering growth and ensuring alignment with best practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaboration:<\/strong> Partner with internal teams on system integrations, application deployments, and infrastructure improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
