The ESS – Shared Services<\/strong> sector is seeking a Network Admin Prin<\/strong> (Principal Network Administrator) to maintain the smooth, secure operation of a variety of data and voice networks. This senior role focuses on planning, evaluating, coordinating infrastructure installation and reconfiguration, and managing the lifecycle and security compliance of the network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a Full-time, Fully Remote<\/strong> position with the organization based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The full-time salary range is $105,254 – $178,931<\/strong>. U.S. Citizenship is required.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Summary and Network Planning Mandate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Network Admin Prin is expected to maintain deep technical expertise across all network, hardware, and software interconnection areas. The role involves hands-on support for all local IT infrastructure components and strategic planning for in-house systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Network Operations:<\/strong> Maintain the smooth operation of a variety of networks<\/strong> and provide regular monitoring and network analysis<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Planning & Installation:<\/strong> Plan, evaluate, and coordinate the installation and\/or reconfiguration of hardware and software<\/strong> elements for data and\/or voice communication networks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Lifecycle & Security:<\/strong> Manage the life cycle and security compliance<\/strong> of network infrastructure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Documentation:<\/strong> Maintain detailed network documentation<\/strong> for local area and wireless networks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Infrastructure Support:<\/strong> Ability to work on tasks for all local IT infrastructure<\/strong> (network, physical layer, and UPS).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Strategic Planning:<\/strong> Conduct short- and long-range planning for in-house systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Technical Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The candidate must possess significant experience supporting Cisco infrastructure, deep expertise in switching and routing, and a solid understanding of the physical layer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience (Mandatory):<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • 5\u20137 years of experience<\/strong> in supporting Cisco network infrastructure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Proficient<\/strong> in supporting Cisco Switching, Routing, and Wireless environments<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Must have a solid understanding of Physical Layer infrastructure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Tools:<\/strong> Familiar with Cisco Management tools such as PRIME and\/or Cisco DNA-Center<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Clearance\/Citizenship:<\/strong> U.S. Citizenship Required<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills (Bonus):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        • Certification:<\/strong> Cisco CCNP Certification<\/strong> in switching and\/or wireless networks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Automation:<\/strong> Familiarity with automation tools<\/strong> such as Ansible or programming (e.g., Python)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Tools Administration:<\/strong> Administration of Cisco tools (Cisco PRIME, DNA-C<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Ticketing:<\/strong> Good understanding of the ServiceNow Ticketing system<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
