A dynamic team is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer<\/strong> to focus on automation, CI\/CD integrations, and optimizing software development workflows, particularly within the GitHub ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a Contract, Hybrid<\/strong> position, available in Hanover, Texas,<\/strong> or Remote<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Summary and Automation Mandate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This Engineer will play a key role in enforcing code quality, managing configuration standards, and improving developer velocity through automation and standardized workflows, with a strong emphasis on the GitHub Enterprise environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • GitHub Automation:<\/strong> Develop and implement automation scripts for GitHub repository management and configuration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • CI\/CD & Testing:<\/strong> Implement CI\/CD integrations<\/strong> and automated testing gates<\/strong> to enhance software development workflows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Code Standards:<\/strong> Establish and maintain best practices for code quality and traceability<\/strong> across projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Workflow Design:<\/strong> Design and document a standardized pull-request workflow<\/strong> to facilitate efficient code reviews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Reporting & Compliance:<\/strong> Produce insightful reporting dashboards that summarize project health and collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security and configuration standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Technical Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate has proven experience with DevOps methodologies, strong knowledge of GitHub Enterprise, and familiarity with core CI\/CD tools and programming languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience (Mandatory):<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Proven experience in DevOps practices and methodologies<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Strong knowledge of GitHub Enterprise Server<\/strong> and related tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Solid understanding of CI\/CD processes and automation frameworks<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Technical Skills:<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and React<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Preferred Skills (Bonus):<\/strong>\n

          • Familiarity with Confluence, Jira Software, and CodeQL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Experience in containerization and cloud technologies<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
