Resultant<\/strong>, a professional services firm focused on complex problem-solving for public and private sector clients, is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer<\/strong>. This role is committed to staying on the cutting edge of cloud and virtualization technologies, requiring a broad blend of technical skillsets to build, automate, and secure infrastructure and deployment pipelines across multiple cloud environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a Full-time, Remote<\/strong> position within the Professional Services Cloud Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Summary and Multi-Cloud Automation Mandate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You will be dedicated to building and managing infrastructure, deployment pipelines, CI\/CD tools, architecture, and security. The role offers the opportunity to forge the use of new technologies in creative ways to shape client cloud infrastructure and workflows across major providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Multi-Cloud Design & Build:<\/strong> Design and build components encompassing network, security, identity, governance, development, and operations in Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)<\/strong> environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Operationalization & Automation:<\/strong> Operationalize solutions from proof-of-concept through production using automation<\/strong> for repeatability, maintainability, and standard enforcement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC):<\/strong> Script and deploy infrastructure components based on an infrastructure as code mindset<\/strong>, using emerging tools and methodologies to automate existing processes and design new cloud infrastructures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • DevOps & Cloud Insight:<\/strong> Provide insight and knowledge of the latest cloud architectures, technology, solutions, industry trends, and DevOps best practices<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaboration & Compliance:<\/strong> Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, drive analysis, and design technical solutions in compliance with architectural blueprints and business strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Education:<\/strong> Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Technical Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate possesses hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, expertise in IaC (Terraform preferred), and familiarity with containers and CI\/CD pipelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Experience (Mandatory):<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • 2+ years of experience<\/strong> with at least one public cloud (Azure, GCP, or AWS<\/strong>) and\/or virtualization (VMware).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Hands-on experience with containers<\/strong> (Kubernetes, Docker<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Proficiency with at least one Infrastructure as Code<\/strong> tool (Terraform preferred<\/strong>, Ansible, Chef, or similar).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Scripting skills<\/strong> in PowerShell, Bash, and\/or Python<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Experience with Git and CI\/CD pipelines<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Experience (Nice to Have):<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • 3+ years of systems administration<\/strong> experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and performance optimization tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Proven \u201cautomation-first\u201d mindset<\/strong> with a focus on efficiency and scalability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Education & Certifications (Desired):<\/strong>\n

          • Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
