The Craneware Group<\/strong> (Sentry Data Systems) is seeking an Applications Support Engineer<\/strong> to join their Technology specialty team. This role is focused on transforming the business of healthcare by supporting the expansion of their SaaS platform and developing cutting-edge applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a Full-time, Permanent, Home-based (US)<\/strong> position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Summary and Technical Support Mandate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Applications Support Engineer will primarily be responsible for investigating the sources and root causes of internal and external customer concerns, utilizing strong data analysis and technical problem-solving skills. The core mandate involves leveraging expert SQL scripting<\/strong> to propose and implement solutions, drive process improvements, and manage product issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Customer Resolution:<\/strong> Handle and resolve customer issues with internal and external partners within defined response times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Root Cause Analysis:<\/strong> Investigate and resolve data errors<\/strong>, often by helping customers change processes or by writing and executing SQL queries<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Stakeholder Management:<\/strong> Set up and lead calls to communicate case status and project updates with internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Product Improvement:<\/strong> Identify product issues and collaborate directly with product and development teams on solutions and code defects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Project Leadership:<\/strong> Lead projects and interface with teams on code defects or product enhancements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Process Optimization:<\/strong> Find and implement new process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Technical Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate brings mandatory expertise in SQL and relational databases, paired with strong business analysis and communication skills, necessary for managing complex data issues within a healthcare technology context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience (Mandatory):<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • At least 3 years of experience<\/strong> in a relevant technical role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Expert use of SQL<\/strong> for investigation, validation, and solution implementation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • In-depth knowledge and experience with relational databases<\/strong>, including structure and querying.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Skills:<\/strong>\n

        • Strong business and data analysis capabilities<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Proven technical problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Excellent communication skills<\/strong> and stakeholder management abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Proficiency in using spreadsheets<\/strong> to create a shared understanding of data issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
