This organization is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer<\/strong> to serve as the primary support and engineering contact accountable for the customer’s Azure support experience<\/strong>. This pivotal role involves driving the resolution of complex, critical problems, supporting key customer projects on Azure, and acting as the voice of the customer<\/strong> to drive platform and support improvement needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a full-time, remote<\/strong> position available across numerous U.S. states, including Virginia Beach, VA. The base pay range is $69,867.20 – $116,438.40<\/strong> annually, with additional compensation available for on-call, overtime, or bonuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Core Responsibilities and Azure Mandate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The primary focus is deep technical support and engineering within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, specializing in core infrastructure services and mission-critical applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Azure Support and Resolution:<\/strong> Drive the resolution of complex critical problems and support key customer projects focused on Azure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Customer Advocacy:<\/strong> Act as the voice of the customer within Azure to escalate problems and drive the prioritization of platform\/support improvement needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Troubleshooting:<\/strong> Provide demonstrated IT experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise-level, mission-critical applications<\/strong> and resolving complex issues across cross-functional organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Technical Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate must have significant IT support and server management experience, with a mandatory background in cloud technologies, specifically Azure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience (Required):<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • 4+ years<\/strong> of experience in the software industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 4 years<\/strong> of demonstrated IT experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise-level, mission-critical applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • At least 2 years of cloud experience<\/strong> (Azure focus is key).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • IT Server Management experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Education:<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • 3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, OR<\/strong> 5+ years of relevant experience without a Bachelor’s degree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Technical Keywords:<\/strong>\n

          • Azure<\/strong> and broader Cloud technologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Core IaaS:<\/strong> Compute, Storage, Networking, High Availability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

          • Monitoring solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
