CrowdStrike<\/strong>, a global leader in cybersecurity, is hiring a Software Engineer<\/strong> to join its PEAK (Platform Evaluation and Attack Knowledge Center)<\/strong> team. This role is a hybrid of a Full Stack Developer<\/strong> and a DevSecOps Engineer<\/strong>, focusing on building innovative testing platforms and automation frameworks that validate CrowdStrike’s security products against sophisticated, real-world threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Summary and Threat Emulation Mandate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The mission of this role is to redefine how security products are tested. The Engineer will combine the mindset of a red teamer with the skills of a software engineer to build scalable, AI-driven testing services. The ultimate goal is to directly measure, analyze, and enhance the effectiveness of CrowdStrike’s security products against the latest attack techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Full-Stack Development & Testing Platforms:<\/strong> Design and develop full-stack applications<\/strong> for automated security testing and threat emulation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Automation & CI\/CD:<\/strong> Build scalable testing frameworks<\/strong> that integrate seamlessly with CI\/CD pipelines<\/strong>. Create and maintain RESTful APIs<\/strong> for test automation services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Security Validation:<\/strong> Implement AI-driven validation systems<\/strong> to analyze product performance. Collaborate with red team members<\/strong> to translate manual testing procedures into automated workflows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Visualization:<\/strong> Develop dashboards and visualization tools<\/strong> for reporting security testing metrics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Infrastructure & Collaboration:<\/strong> Support and enhance existing testing infrastructure. Collaborate across multiple disciplines, including threat researchers, detection engineers, and data scientists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Technical Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate possesses deep full-stack development expertise across multiple languages and is highly proficient in modern cloud-native tools, with a crucial understanding of security testing methodologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience (Required):<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Core Technical Stack:<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Strong proficiency in Python, Golang, JavaScript<\/strong>, and at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Experience with containerization (Docker)<\/strong> and orchestration (Kubernetes).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Solid understanding of CI\/CD principles and tools<\/strong> (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Experience with REST API design and implementation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Security Knowledge:<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Knowledge of security testing methodologies<\/strong> and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Soft Skills:<\/strong> Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, an energetic “self starter” mentality<\/strong> with a focus on root cause analysis, and clear communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Education:<\/strong> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            • Experience with red teaming or penetration testing.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Knowledge of cloud platforms<\/strong> (AWS, Azure, or GCP).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Experience with machine learning frameworks<\/strong> and AI implementation.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Security certifications (OSCP, CISSP, or similar<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
