Role Summary and Public Sector Growth Mandate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Director will collaborate with senior client executives to implement or advise on large-scale software solutions in State Government environments. This role is highly entrepreneurial, requiring a strong focus on business development and strategic client management, while also providing technical leadership and managing a team of consulting professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Competencies and Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

  • Business Development & Sales:<\/strong> Drive client management and sales acumen to grow existing projects and establish new projects<\/strong>. Build new markets and lead proposal responses for RF(x)’s<\/strong>, focusing on the California State Government market<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Consulting Delivery:<\/strong> Lead or participate in project delivery activities, including analysis, deliverable creation, and communicating project performance. Advise on large-scale software solutions within Public Sector environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Technical Acumen:<\/strong> Requires a general understanding of technology and should be versed in big data, coding, project management, technical writing, and cloud services.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Resource Management:<\/strong> Hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining staff<\/strong> to build a sustain a diverse and capable team skillset. Manage a team of resources and ensure they meet financial and organizational targets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Risk Management:<\/strong> Own strategic, financial, and operational risk<\/strong> in all aspects of responsibility, integrating quality management and client satisfaction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaboration:<\/strong> Skilled in building support for opportunities, proposals, and organizational initiatives, playing an active role in growing the Business Unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate is a highly experienced technology management consultant with a proven track record of winning public sector contracts, deep familiarity with State Government services, and demonstrated leadership in team and fiscal management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Consulting Experience (Required):<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • At least 10 years of experience in management consulting, focused on technology.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 6+ years of experience developing, bidding, and winning public sector management consulting services<\/strong> with progressively increasing leadership responsibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 6+ years of experience providing State Government services<\/strong> such as: planning, procurement, project management, Quality Assurance (QA) or Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), implementation, or System Integration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Financial Management:<\/strong> Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with a minimum Fiscal Year\u2019s book value of $1M-$2M.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Leadership & Team:<\/strong> Proven ability to hire, develop, and manage a team of people.<\/strong> Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Attributes:<\/strong> Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic, and have political savvy<\/strong> to accomplish objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s Degree from an accredited University.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
