An opportunity is available for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)<\/strong> to join the infrastructure team of a product and engineering organization. This key technical role is responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance<\/strong> of the company’s cloud-based services through automation and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a full-time, remote<\/strong> position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Summary and Reliability Mandate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The SRE will work closely with IT, Engineering, and Security teams to design, secure, and maintain highly available, cost-efficient, and observable systems. A strong emphasis is placed on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), incident management, and modern cloud practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Cloud Reliability & Performance:<\/strong> Responsible for the overall scalability, reliability, and performance of the cloud-based services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Automation & IaC:<\/strong> Strong emphasis on automation<\/strong> and continuous improvement. Design and maintain systems using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Observability:<\/strong> Implement and manage log aggregation and observability tools<\/strong> (e.g., Sumo Logic, Datadog, ELK) for monitoring and proactive management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Container Orchestration:<\/strong> Work with Kubernetes (EKS)<\/strong>, Helm, and container orchestration to manage services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Security & Compliance:<\/strong> Design and maintain secure systems, with familiarity in compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, etc.)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Incident Management:<\/strong> Utilize incident management practices<\/strong> and SRE principles (SLAs, SLOs, error budgets) to ensure operational excellence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaboration:<\/strong> Work closely with cross-functional teams to design systems that are secure, observable, and cost-efficient.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Technical Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate is a hands-on SRE or DevOps professional with deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and leveraging IaC and observability tools in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Experience:<\/strong> 5+ years of experience<\/strong> in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • AWS Expertise (Strong Proficiency):<\/strong> Hands-on experience with core AWS services, including IAM, EC2, ECS\/Fargate, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, or Terraform<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • DevOps Tooling:<\/strong> Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)<\/strong> and GitHub (workflow automation, PR workflows, secrets management).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Observability:<\/strong> Hands-on experience with log aggregation and observability tools<\/strong> (Sumo Logic or equivalents like Datadog, ELK).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Containerization:<\/strong> Experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Helm<\/strong>, and container orchestration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Environment:<\/strong> Prior experience in fast-paced SaaS or startup environments<\/strong> is highly valued.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
