A position is available for a Senior Manager, Retail Technology<\/strong> at The ODP Corporation<\/strong> (Office Depot and OfficeMax), a leading provider of products and services through a business-to-business (B2B) distribution platform and omnichannel presence. This role is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and customer experience of product and service offerings on the company’s business platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a full-time, fully remote<\/strong> position, but candidates must be available to work during Eastern Time (ET) hours<\/strong>. The salary range is $116,100\/year to $175,000\/year<\/strong>, with eligibility for an incentive program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Summary and Platform Product Leadership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Senior Manager serves as a strategic and operational leader, driving customer-facing business initiatives from conception to delivery. The role requires strong analytical and people leadership skills to manage a team and execute a strategic technology roadmap in a matrixed environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Primary Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Strategy & Roadmap:<\/strong> Implement a strategic roadmap<\/strong> for product and service offerings, outlining key functional capabilities to maximize sales and customer experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Technology Leadership:<\/strong> Guide the team in overall ** technology design activities**. Serve as the domain expert<\/strong> and point person for escalations, which is essential for defining product specifications and managing on-call situations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Project Management & Execution:<\/strong> Manage project timelines and budget<\/strong>, responsible for application\/system scopes, dependencies, and deliverables. Assign and manage resource allocation across projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Cross-Functional Partnership:<\/strong> Work closely with business partners, product managers, UX designers, technical architects, and core business teams to understand needs and deliver appropriate solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • People Management:<\/strong> Overarching people management responsibilities include hiring, goal setting, performance management, coaching, training, and development<\/strong>. Fosters growth and skill acquisition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate is an experienced manager with a proven track record of successful technology delivery, superior analytical skills, and strong people leadership capabilities in a dynamic, customer-facing retail technology environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience (Required):<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Minimum of 6 years<\/strong> of overall experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 3 years in a managerial role.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Proven experience with functionality delivery from concept to deployment<\/strong>, leveraging mobile, social, and other rich media applications to build web solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Education:<\/strong> Bachelor’s degree<\/strong> or equivalent experience (Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business preferred); an advanced degree is a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Analytical Skills:<\/strong> Demands superior analytical skills<\/strong> to refine strategic, technical roadmaps. Must rely on scientific findings in decision-making, establish relevant KPIs<\/strong>, and routinely track them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Leadership Qualities:<\/strong> Ability to continuously drive results<\/strong>, inspire and motivate team performance, and demonstrate the ability to identify, attract, and develop team talent<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Communication Skills:<\/strong> Excellent verbal and written communication skills; regularly required to make presentations to stakeholders<\/strong> and clearly defend strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
