An incredible opportunity is available for a Vice President of IT<\/strong> to join a highly esteemed and growing Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)<\/strong> group. This executive leader will drive the strategic vision and direct all IT operations for the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a full-time, remote<\/strong> position, but candidates must be located in the 12 Midwest states or anywhere in the Eastern Time Zone (EST)<\/strong>. The salary range is $135,000 to $165,000<\/strong>, along with a bonus program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Summary and QSR Technology Leadership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This VP will have direct oversight of all IT staff and systems, setting the strategic vision for the entire technology infrastructure. The role requires a hands-on leader capable of blending strategic planning with direct operational accountability in a fast-paced hospitality environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Strategic Vision:<\/strong> Develop a strategic vision<\/strong> for the organization’s entire IT infrastructure, encompassing computer and information systems, security, and communication systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Operational Oversight:<\/strong> Direct oversight of all IT operations<\/strong>, including supervision of IT staff and systems. Vigilantly monitor system performance to ensure seamless delivery and operation of IT services<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Budget Management:<\/strong> Management and monitoring of the IT department’s annual budget<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:<\/strong> Collaborate with senior-level stakeholders<\/strong> across the organization to identify business and technology needs and optimize IT usage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Standards & Guidance:<\/strong> Establish processes and standards for the selection, implementation, and support of systems. Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT personnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate possesses significant IT leadership experience, specifically within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or hospitality sector, coupled with deep technical expertise in systems, security, and specialized QSR technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience (Required):<\/strong> A minimum of 4 years of experience in QSR IT operations<\/strong>, including supervision of technology teams and oversight of substantial IT projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Education:<\/strong> A Bachelor’s degree<\/strong> in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Technical Knowledge:<\/strong> Profound knowledge<\/strong> of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, data storage systems, and telecommunications within the hospitality industry<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • QSR Specific Skills (Preferred):<\/strong> Preferably, experience with C# and other .NET programming languages<\/strong>, along with familiarity with Point of Sale Extended Markup Language (POSXML)<\/strong> and installing Kitchen Display Units (KDUs)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
