An executive opportunity is available for a Senior Vice President (SVP), Global SRE and DevOps, Data & Technology<\/strong> at Dentsu<\/strong>, overseeing the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of their global platforms, which support Dentsu. This is a full-time, fully remote<\/strong> position in the USA, reporting directly to the Global Chief Product Officer. The annual salary range is $163,000 \u2013 $263,350<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Summary and Operational Excellence Mandate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This SVP is a senior leader responsible for defining and executing the long-term strategy for platform maturity and scalability. The role requires a collaborative, high-trust leadership style to manage a distributed global team and ensure high reliability standards across core cloud infrastructure and tooling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Team Leadership & Management:<\/strong> Lead and scale a global team of approximately 20 engineers and their leads across SRE, DevOps, and infrastructure<\/strong> domains. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Engineering & Architecture:<\/strong> Provide strategic direction<\/strong> across all domains, guiding architectural decisions for the evolution of internal platforms and cloud environments (specifically Azure<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Operational Excellence:<\/strong> Define and maintain reliability and performance standards (SLOs, SLIs)<\/strong>. Manage platform cost optimization, resource efficiency, and ensure robust monitoring and alerting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Strategic Planning:<\/strong> Develop long-term strategies for platform maturity and scalability<\/strong>. Identify opportunities for innovation and manage strategic risks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:<\/strong> Act as the primary contact<\/strong> for platform reliability and tooling across global leadership. Represent platform engineering in executive forums and collaborate extensively with Product, Engineering, Security, and Data teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Functional Oversight:<\/strong> Direct ownership over Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps Tooling\/Developer Experience, Core Cloud Infrastructure (Azure), Platform Operations, Observability, Cost Optimization, and Global Technical Support.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Executive Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate is a highly seasoned SRE\/DevOps executive with extensive experience running large-scale, complex platforms in a global, multi-faceted technology organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience: <\/strong>Minimum of 10+ years in engineering roles<\/strong>, with proven experience in:\n
        \n
      • Running large-scale, complex platforms.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Observability, monitoring, and cost optimization.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Leadership:<\/strong> Proven leadership in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, and Infrastructure Operations.<\/strong> Experience leading and managing global teams<\/strong> and driving cross-functional collaboration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Technical Depth:<\/strong> Deep understanding of:\n

        • SRE principles<\/strong> (SLOs, SLIs, incident management).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • CI\/CD tooling and DevOps practices.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Cloud automation and infrastructure-as-code.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Strategy & Communication:<\/strong> Strong background in technical architecture, platform strategy, and operational excellence. Skilled in strategic planning, risk management, and the ability to represent platform engineering in executive forums<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
