Role Summary and Sales-Driven Mandate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This Director functions as an expert advisor within the client management team, requiring a strong combination of technical mastery (cloud architecture, security, migration) and commercial acumen. The ultimate measure of success for this role is to win business<\/strong> and drive revenue by aligning compelling cloud solutions with client business outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Business Winning & Revenue Generation:<\/strong> The primary responsibility is to win business<\/strong> by developing well-articulated, value-laden, and compelling business solutions. Focus on generating new revenue and improving margins<\/strong> across all accounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Client Thought Leadership:<\/strong> Develop a technical relationship with clients and prospects, serving as a trusted advisor<\/strong> to senior management and creating a dependence on the candidate’s knowledge and thought leadership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Cloud Strategy & Solution Design:<\/strong> Lead the definition of a client\u2019s cloud strategy and roadmap<\/strong>. Architect and design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based solutions<\/strong> (on-prem, hybrid, and Multi-cloud).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Security & Compliance:<\/strong> Develop and present cloud security strategies, policies, and solutions<\/strong>. Ensure solution compliance with industry regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Migration & Integration:<\/strong> Assess client environments and systems, developing strategies for cloud migration and transformation<\/strong>. Plan and present the seamless integration of platforms and architectures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Financial Acumen:<\/strong> Understand the meaning and implications of key financial indicators. Experience in preparing cost estimation for cloud solutions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate is a seasoned cloud architect and technology leader with extensive experience working with state and local clients, possessing deep knowledge of major cloud platforms and a proven ability to engage at the executive level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Experience:<\/strong> 12+ years\u2019 experience<\/strong> working as an architect in designing, developing, and delivering technology solutions for state and local clients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Cloud Expertise (Deep):<\/strong> Extensive experience in designing and implementing on-prem, hybrid, and Multicloud solutions.<\/strong> In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud IaaS and PaaS<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Cloud Alliance (Required):<\/strong> Strong alliance with Google, AWS, Azure, and other progressive cloud\/container vendors is a requirement.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Executive Presence:<\/strong> Comfortable interacting with CXO issues and solution alternatives, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and an executive presence<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Architectural Knowledge:<\/strong> Demonstrated experience in design patterns, architecture best practices, cost optimizations<\/strong>, and delivering purpose-built solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Thought Leadership:<\/strong> Recognized thought leadership both internally and externally, with expert knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of competitor products and services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
