An opportunity is available for a Systems Manager, IT Program and Project Management<\/strong> at CommonSpirit Health<\/strong>, one of the nation\u2019s largest nonprofit Catholic healthcare organizations. This strategic leadership role is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of a wide range of IT projects and programs across a heavily matrixed environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a full-time<\/strong> position based in Englewood, Colorado<\/strong>, and is a remote position. The compensation range is posted as $60.24 – $89.60 \/hour<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Summary and Delivery Leadership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This manager serves as the Strategy and Operations leader<\/strong> for the shared portfolio and leadership team, blending leadership of personnel with direct ownership of execution, process improvement, and executive communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Leadership & Mentorship:<\/strong> Lead and mentor a team<\/strong> of Program Managers, Project Managers, and\/or Business Analysts, fostering continuous improvement and professional development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Portfolio Strategy & Operations:<\/strong> Serve as the Strategy and Operations leader for the portfolio, developing improved product artifacts, integrated roadmaps<\/strong>, and executive-level strategy collateral.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Execution & Delivery Ownership:<\/strong> Maintain relentless commitment and ownership<\/strong> over the planning, execution, and delivery of projects and programs, ensuring they meet quality, scope, budget, and timeline requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Methodology & Process Refinement:<\/strong> Implement and refine project management methodologies and best practices<\/strong>, blending agile product management and traditional waterfall delivery. Define program\/project management standards, process optimization, and implementation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Resource & Financial Management:<\/strong> Manage resource allocation and budgeting<\/strong> across multiple projects and programs, ensuring optimal deployment of personnel and capital resources, including matrixed resources<\/strong> and alignment to a centralized PM COE.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Executive Communication:<\/strong> Possess an executive presence<\/strong> to provide leadership team support and deliver executive summaries related to budget, capital, issues, and risks, using a data-driven “story-telling” approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with significant experience managing both people and complex, mixed-methodology programs, with a bias for action<\/b> and ability to navigate ambiguity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Experience (Dual Track):<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • 7+ years of experience managing Program Managers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 7+ years of experience in program\/project management, agile teams, or value-based outcome tracking.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Strategy & Process:<\/strong> Experience leading strategy and operations for a portfolio<\/strong>, and a strong understanding of project and program management methodologies and best practices. Experience in defining program\/project management standards<\/strong> and process optimization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Leadership Style:<\/strong> Bias to action, objective, and decisive<\/strong>. Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage through ambiguity and change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Communication:<\/strong> Executive-level Oral\/Written Communication<\/strong> required for reporting results for programs, projects, and product portfolios.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Industry (Preferred):<\/strong> Healthcare IT industry experience preferred.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
