This director will lead the organization&#8217;s <strong>ITSM area<\/strong>, focusing heavily on implementing and maturing the <strong>Service Transition<\/strong> processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a <strong>full-time, remote<\/strong> position within the U.S. The base pay range is <strong>$115,000.00 \u2013 $167,640.70 per year<\/strong>, with eligibility for an <strong>annual bonus plan targeting 20.00%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Role Summary and ITIL\/Service Transition Mandate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This Director is responsible for ensuring all technology systems and services align with strategic organizational goals by applying advanced ITIL and ITSM frameworks. The role&#8217;s primary focus is the implementation and continuous improvement of core Service Transition and Service Operations processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>ITSM &amp; ITIL Leadership:<\/strong> <strong>Oversee core Service Transition<\/strong> (<strong>Change, Release, Configuration, Knowledge<\/strong>) <strong>&amp; Service Operations<\/strong> (<strong>Problem &amp; Incident<\/strong>) processes for the IT organization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Framework Maturity:<\/strong> <strong>Champion ITIL framework adoption and maturity<\/strong> throughout the IT organization, establishing and maintaining governance models that support both stability and agility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Continuous Improvement:<\/strong> Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing opportunities for <strong>automation and process refinement<\/strong>. Lead postmortems for major releases and incidents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cross-Functional Alignment:<\/strong> Collaborate with IT and Software Engineering executive leadership to align frameworks and processes with business needs, coordinating cross-functional collaboration between these areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reporting &amp; Compliance:<\/strong> Provide necessary <strong>KPI\/Metric data and reporting<\/strong> to senior leadership. Maintain documentation of procedures for <strong>audit and compliance reviews<\/strong>, ensuring practices comply with all regulatory standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CMDB &amp; Release Management:<\/strong> Ensure the continued management and <strong>data accuracy within the CMDB<\/strong> (Configuration Management Database). Negotiate, plan, and manage all release activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required Experience and Technical Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The ideal candidate is a proven ITSM leader with deep, hands-on experience implementing ITIL frameworks, specifically with proficiency in the ServiceNow platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> <strong>8\u201310 years of experience in IT Operations<\/strong>, with at least <strong>5 years in ITSM leadership roles<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ITIL Expertise:<\/strong> <strong>Proven experience implementing and managing ITIL-based service management frameworks.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certifications:<\/strong> <strong>ITIL V4 certification (Intermediate or Expert level preferred).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tooling:<\/strong> <strong>5+ years\u2019 experience with ITSM Tooling (ServiceNow preferred).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Development Knowledge:<\/strong> <strong>Advanced knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)<\/strong>, and knowledge of <strong>DevOps &amp; Agile<\/strong>.
