Role Summary and Technical Compliance Focus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This Manager sits at the intersection of compliance and technology, responsible for designing, enhancing, and scaling controls and systems. The role is hands-on, focused on data integrity, model tuning, automation, and leveraging emerging technology like AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • System & Control Design:<\/strong> Partner with Financial Crime Compliance and Product teams to design and implement technology controls<\/strong> for AML, Sanctions, KYC, and Travel Rule<\/strong> requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Data Integrity & Reporting:<\/strong> Ensure the accuracy and integrity of compliance data. Enhance and automate compliance reporting solutions<\/strong> (collection, governance, aggregation). Design and build self-service dashboards<\/strong> and statistical tools for data-driven decision-making.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Model Management & Tuning:<\/strong> Assist with documentation, maintenance, and tuning of AML transaction monitoring rules<\/strong>, sanctions screening systems, and risk scoring models. Execute rigorous pre- and post-implementation testing<\/strong> of models (both internal and vendor-developed).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • AI Integration:<\/strong> Explore and leverage AI-driven approaches<\/strong> across all compliance systems, reporting, and controls to enable smarter, more scalable solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Regulatory Documentation:<\/strong> Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for all technical aspects of the Compliance program, including AI-enabled systems, for review by regulators and external examiners<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Technical Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate has a deep background in financial crime compliance systems, data analytics, and modern technology stacks, ideally within a FinTech or crypto environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Experience:<\/strong> 7+ years of data management and analytics experience<\/strong> in banking, consulting, or cryptocurrency<\/strong>; FinTech or RegTech experience is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Technical Proficiency (Data):<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Proficiency in SQL<\/strong> within modern data warehouse environments (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Familiarity with programming for data analysis, ideally Python or R<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Compliance Software:<\/strong> Experience with the application of AML and sanctions software<\/strong>, including LexisNexis Bridger<\/strong>; experience with on-chain transaction monitoring solutions is preferred<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • AI Familiarity:<\/strong> Familiarity with generative AI models<\/strong> (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Education & Documentation:<\/strong> BS\/BA in Information Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field, and proven experience preparing documentation to support compliance functions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
