An opportunity has emerged in our network for a high-performing and strategically minded Director of Transaction Advisory Services (TAS)<\/strong> at Intrinsic<\/strong>, a majority employee-owned company providing advisory services to private equity firms and the office of the CFO. This critical leadership role focuses specifically on leading complex financial due diligence projects within the Software and Technology vertical<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $175,000\u2013$230,000<\/strong>, plus a performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Summary and Sector Expertise<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This Director will lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, leveraging deep sector knowledge to analyze investment opportunities and drive better deal outcomes in the software and technology industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Financial Due Diligence Leadership:<\/strong> Lead and manage multiple buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements<\/strong>, working directly with private equity clients and middle-market companies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Data Analysis & Synthesis:<\/strong> Analyze and synthesize complex financial and operational data to assess the Quality of Earnings (QoE), Net Working Capital (NWC), and other key transaction metrics<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Industry Expertise:<\/strong> Advance the firm’s software and technology industry transaction work, leveraging sector knowledge to support complex deals, including analyzing SaaS\/recurring revenue models<\/strong> and calculating related metrics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Client Communication:<\/strong> Conduct client and management interviews, produce clear and concise reports, and provide expert recommendations throughout the transaction lifecycle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Firm Building & Mentorship:<\/strong> Participate in firm-building initiatives, including business development and service innovation. Mentor, train, and evaluate junior professionals<\/strong> to foster technical growth and leadership development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate is a highly experienced TAS professional with specific, demonstrated expertise in the software and technology space, thriving at the intersection of data, strategy, and client service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience:<\/strong> 5\u20137 years of relevant experience<\/strong>, ideally in a Transaction Advisory Services group at a Big 4 or national consulting firm<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Due Diligence Track Record:<\/strong> Demonstrated success leading financial due diligence engagements<\/strong> for private equity or middle-market clients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Sector Focus (Required):<\/strong> Direct experience working with software and technology companies<\/strong>, including analyzing SaaS\/recurring revenue models<\/strong> and calculating related metrics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Education\/Certification:<\/strong> A bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Skills:<\/strong> Advanced analytical skills, exceptional project management capabilities, and excellent verbal\/written communication with a strong client-focused approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
