Role Summary and Leadership Focus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The IT Risk Director is responsible for leading project teams, managing client relationships, driving business development, and taking on internal firm leadership responsibilities for the Risk Advisory team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Engagement Oversight:<\/strong> Lead engagements spanning IT Internal Audit, SOX implementation and testing, attestation\/certification readiness (SOC 1, SOC 2),<\/strong> business process improvement, and compliance assessments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Project Management:<\/strong> Approve engagement scope, project plans, risk assessments, and testing approaches. Review and approve IT controls testing, process narratives, flow charts, and other assessment procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Client & Stakeholder Interaction:<\/strong> Interact with clients, their external auditors, and other professional service firms. Prepare reports and presentations (including for Audit Committee meetings<\/strong>), identify value-add areas, and develop\/manage client relationships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Firm Leadership:<\/strong> Serve as part of the Firm’s leadership with internal responsibilities for staff development, training, and continuous improvement<\/strong> of the Risk Advisory team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Business Development:<\/strong> Actively engage in business development activities with both new and existing clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate possesses deep IT audit and risk management experience, combined with strong project management and communication skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Experience:<\/strong> 7 to 12 years of experience<\/strong> in public accounting and\/or industry performing IT audit, systems implementations, or Information Security<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Certifications\/Education (Required):<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Certified CISA, CIA, or other standard auditing certification combined with solid IT audit experience<\/strong> (non-certified hires are required to become certified within 1 year).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Audit, Management Information Systems, or a similar relevant degree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Technical Knowledge:<\/strong> Strong technical skills and a working knowledge of:\n

        • SOX IT General Controls (ITGC)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • COSO, SOC 1, and SOC 2<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Awareness of ISO 27001, NIST standards, HIPAA, FAIR<\/strong>, and other relevant standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
