An opportunity has emerged in our network for a Head of Platform Innovation<\/strong> at Lendistry<\/strong>, the nation’s largest minority-led, tech-savvy lender for small businesses and commercial real estate. This is a critical senior leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), sitting at the intersection of technology, innovation, and business strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a full-time<\/strong> position, with a preferred hybrid presence in Los Angeles, Tustin, or Dallas, TX, but is open to Remote (AZ)<\/strong>. The US base salary range is $256,000\u2013$300,000 annually<\/strong>, plus variable compensation elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Role and Visionary Mandate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This leader is both visionary and execution-oriented<\/strong>, responsible for shaping and executing the future of Lendistry’s technology platform strategy, balancing stability with a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Innovation Roadmap Leadership:<\/strong> Lead and drive Lendistry\u2019s platform innovation roadmap<\/strong>, aligning with the company’s long-term strategy and business goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Technology Scouting & Piloting:<\/strong> Identify, evaluate, and pilot new technologies or services<\/strong> that enhance the core lending platform and user experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Ideation to Scale:<\/strong> Lead platform ideation and incubation efforts<\/strong>, from early-stage discovery through to Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and scaling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • AI\/ML Application:<\/strong> Lead initiatives to develop practical applications of AI and Machine Learning<\/strong> within lending products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:<\/strong> Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to identify expansion opportunities. Manage a cross-functional team<\/strong> of innovators and analysts to drive key projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Frameworks & Governance:<\/strong> Establish platform innovation best practices, frameworks (e.g., design thinking, lean startup), and KPIs<\/strong> to ensure alignment across departments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Expertise<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    This executive role demands extensive experience in driving platform strategy, technology innovation, and multidisciplinary team leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience:<\/strong> 15+ years of experience<\/strong> in platform innovation, product strategy, or technology leadership within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Platform & Execution:<\/strong> Proven track record<\/strong> of successfully leading platform and technology innovation efforts from concept through execution. Java EE required.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Technical Depth:<\/strong> Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS platforms, APIs, system integrations, and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) models<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Methodologies:<\/strong> Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, innovation frameworks<\/strong> (design thinking, lean startup), and platform lifecycle management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Leadership & Influence:<\/strong> Experience leading multidisciplinary teams<\/strong> and comfort influencing senior leadership<\/strong> and collaborating across functions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
