The Role and Core Focus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This Director will lead a high-performing team to ensure that all global contracts are legally sound, align with business and regulatory requirements, and support strategic revenue objectives. The role functions as a trusted advisor to commercial teams and drives continuous improvement across operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Global Contracting Strategy:<\/strong> Develop and implement global contracting solutions<\/strong> that align with company strategy and revenue objectives, engaging internal and external stakeholders while respecting regional specificities (Direct\/Indirect markets, Tender\/RFP management).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Contract Compliance & Risk Mitigation:<\/strong> Oversee contract compliance, ensuring timely and efficient contract development aligned with commercial goals, pricing policies, and government regulations<\/strong>. Analyze contract performance and financial implications to mitigate risk and provide strategic recommendations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Team Leadership & Management:<\/strong> Leads a direct team across multiple regions, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment<\/strong>. Responsible for hiring, training, setting goals, and ensuring accountability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Process & System Improvement:<\/strong> Develop and maintain robust contract management frameworks (processes, tools, internal controls, systems). Implement and manage contracting and order management tools to streamline operations and enhance productivity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Cross-Functional Partnership:<\/strong> Works directly with Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure team alignment, readiness on sales\/compliance strategies, and seamless execution of the sales and service contract lifecycle (drafting, negotiating, finalizing, compliance, renewal).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    This is a demanding leadership role requiring significant experience in global contracts, operational excellence, and team management, ideally within the medical device industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience Level:<\/strong> 10 years of experience in a customer-facing function<\/strong>, ideally in contract management within the medical device<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Leadership Experience:<\/strong> Minimum 6 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role<\/strong> in a matrix, direct\/indirect, and global setting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Core Competencies:<\/strong> Proven track record of successful contract negotiations<\/strong> within a matrix, international environment. Must possess proven continuous improvement skills<\/strong> and operational prowess.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Education (Required):<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/strong> in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Master’s degree<\/strong> in law, business administration, or a related field with emphasis on analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Certifications (Preferred):<\/strong> Professional certification in contract management (e.g., CPCM, CCMP<\/strong>) and\/or legal qualifications and\/or program management (PMP<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
