The core mission is to enable AI software engineers to move fast by building and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure foundational infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This role sits at the critical intersection of systems engineering and AI enablement. The base salary range is $127,500\u2014$150,000 USD<\/strong> for most US remote locations, with a higher range for San Francisco\/New York talent. Key Responsibilities and AI Enablement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As a key partner to IT, Security, and AI\/ML engineering teams, you will solve complex operational challenges to unlock innovation across the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • AI Infrastructure Architecture:<\/strong> Architect and manage infrastructure that specifically supports AI\/ML pipelines, tools, and data platforms<\/strong>. This includes experience supporting ML workloads and GPU-based infrastructure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Containerization & Orchestration:<\/strong> Implement and maintain containerization (Docker<\/strong>) and orchestration (Kubernetes<\/strong>) environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Automation & IaC:<\/strong> Automate provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)<\/strong> tools like Terraform or Pulumi<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • CI\/CD for ML:<\/strong> Develop CI\/CD systems<\/strong> that integrate with ML workflows<\/strong> and ensure reproducible AI experiments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Observability & Optimization:<\/strong> Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack<\/strong>. You will partner with engineers to optimize platform performance and resource utilization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Security & Documentation:<\/strong> Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure infrastructure meets data protection standards, and maintain clear, accessible documentation to scale platform knowledge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Technical Skills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate is a skilled engineer with a customer-first mindset, prioritizing automation, self-service tools, and operational excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience:<\/strong> 4+ years of experience<\/strong> in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Cloud & Containers:<\/strong> Proficiency with cloud providers (AWS preferred<\/strong>), Kubernetes<\/strong>, and Docker<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • IaC & Scripting:<\/strong> Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi<\/strong>), and strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • CI\/CD:<\/strong> Familiarity with CI\/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Foundational Knowledge:<\/strong> Understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Problem Solving:<\/strong> Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues in a distributed environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
