Allstate<\/strong> is seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud DevOps Engineer<\/strong> to join their technology team. This is a full-time, fully remote<\/strong> position within the United States, targeting an early career professional with a focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI\/CD practices. The role is pivotal in designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud environments, particularly within Microsoft Azure<\/strong> and incorporating emerging technologies like Microsoft Fabric<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compensation for this role ranges from $66,800.00 \u2013 $120,650.00<\/strong> annually, based on experience and qualifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities and Technical Focus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This engineer will drive automation and continuous delivery while ensuring the security and optimization of Allstate’s cloud platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Cloud Infrastructure & IaC:<\/strong> Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across platforms, primarily focusing on Microsoft Azure<\/strong>, but also encompassing AWS or Google Cloud. You will automate provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)<\/strong> tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • CI\/CD Pipeline Management:<\/strong> Build and maintain CI\/CD pipelines<\/strong> using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins<\/strong>, or similar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Cloud Administration:<\/strong> Administer cloud environments, including user access, patching, backups, and disaster recovery. You will also monitor and optimize cloud resources<\/strong> for performance, cost, and reliability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Data Platform Integration:<\/strong> A key responsibility is to integrate and support Microsoft Fabric components<\/strong> within data engineering and analytics workflows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Security & Compliance:<\/strong> Ensure security and compliance across cloud environments using best practices and tools, and maintain comprehensive documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Skills and Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The successful candidate will have proven hands-on experience in a Cloud DevOps role, with a strong emphasis on the Microsoft stack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience & Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s degree in a technical field and 3+ years of experience in Cloud DevOps roles<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Core Tooling:<\/strong> Hands-on experience with Terraform, Git & Jenkins<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Microsoft Stack:<\/strong> Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure<\/strong>, including Azure DevOps and Azure Resource Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Data Technologies:<\/strong> Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric<\/strong> and its role in modern data platforms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Foundational Knowledge:<\/strong> Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)<\/strong> and a strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
