This full-time, remote position (US or Canada) is highly focused on owning the deployment and maintenance of a hybrid infrastructure<\/strong>, supporting medical software solutions across AWS cloud services<\/strong> and on-premise environments<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The role offers a base salary range of $87,892.99 – $118,774.78\/Annual<\/strong>, with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus and participation in the long-term incentive plan. The work directly contributes to ensuring the security, scalability, and compliance of mission-critical medical systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities and Technical Focus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This engineer will play a crucial role in automation, infrastructure management, and ensuring regulatory compliance (HIPAA, FDA, ISO, IEC) for medical software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Hybrid Infrastructure Ownership:<\/strong> Own the deployment and maintenance of AWS services<\/strong> and on-premise infrastructure<\/strong>. You will also help troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues<\/strong> in these hybrid environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Automation:<\/strong> Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible<\/strong>. This includes supporting on-premise software installations and automating deployments, rollbacks, and software updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Security & Compliance:<\/strong> Learn and apply security best practices, assisting senior R&D engineers to enhance security and ensure compliance with medical industry regulations (HIPAA, FDA, ISO 13485, and IEC 62304<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Monitoring & Reliability:<\/strong> Support monitoring of infrastructure and applications using CloudWatch and Datadog<\/strong>. You will work to resolve performance bottlenecks, assist in incident response<\/strong>, and perform system health checks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    This position is for an experienced IT professional with a strong background that spans traditional infrastructure and modern cloud DevOps practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Overall Experience:<\/strong> 10\u201315 years of overall IT experience<\/strong>, encompassing infrastructure, automation, cloud, and enterprise application deployment and support.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • DevOps\/Cloud Experience:<\/strong> 5 to 7 years<\/strong> of experience specifically in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, IT automation, or system administration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • AWS Expertise:<\/strong> Expert with AWS services,<\/strong> including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudTrail<\/strong>, and others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC):<\/strong> Deep understanding of IaC tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • CI\/CD & Scripting:<\/strong> Proficient with CI\/CD tools<\/strong> (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI\/CD<\/strong>) and scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Environment Knowledge:<\/strong> Some experience with on-premises software deployment or IT automation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Monitoring:<\/strong> Experience with monitoring & observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
