This is a full-time, remote position based out of Texas, with a target salary range of $120,001 – $160,000<\/strong>. The role focuses on supporting migration and upgrade projects, streamlining CI\/CD workflows, and integrating modern DevOps tools into the Pega ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The successful candidate must be a US Citizen (implicit through the Public Trust requirement) and must be able to obtain a Public Trust<\/strong> clearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities and Technical Focus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This role sits at the intersection of application expertise (Pega) and infrastructure automation (DevOps), with a heavy focus on modernization and reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Pega Automation & Upgrades:<\/strong> Automate and support deployments, upgrades, and migrations of the Pega platform<\/strong> (e.g., Infinity 24.x).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • CI\/CD Pipeline Management:<\/strong> Manage and optimize CI\/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and Azure DevOps<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • DevOps Toolchain Integration:<\/strong> Integrate Nexus, Puppet, and Terraform Enterprise (TFE)<\/strong> for configuration, artifact, and infrastructure management within Pega environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Modernization:<\/strong> Collaborate on the migration from Windows to Linux and ensure seamless containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Middleware & Integration:<\/strong> Work with middleware tools, including Oracle WebLogic, ESB, and SOA<\/strong>, to support integration, deployment, and configuration activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Reliability and Security:<\/strong> Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, and maintain security, compliance, and integration with authentication systems (TLS 1.2+, SSO, OAuth).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Experience and Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    This is a senior-level role requiring extensive relevant experience and platform-specific knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience\/Education:<\/strong> Master\u2019s Degree in a technical field plus 10 years of relevant work experience<\/strong> (or 8 years of additional experience can substitute for the Master’s degree).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Pega Expertise:<\/strong> Proven experience administering and upgrading Pega platforms<\/strong> (Infinity 24.x preferred).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Automation Proficiency:<\/strong> Proficiency with a wide range of DevOps automation tools: Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, Nexus, Puppet, and Terraform Enterprise<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Containerization:<\/strong> Solid understanding of containerization, Kubernetes, and Docker<\/strong> in enterprise environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Scripting & Middleware:<\/strong> Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python<\/strong>) and Expertise in middleware tools<\/strong> (Oracle WebLogic, ESB, and SOA<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Operational Skills:<\/strong> Experience with infrastructure automation, monitoring, and logging solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Preferred Qualifications<\/strong> include experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP<\/strong>), familiarity with major web servers (Tomcat, WebLogic), databases, and load balancers, and exposure to hybrid or cloud-ready architectures and migrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
