An opportunity has come through our network for a Solution Architect<\/strong> at a leading organization in the technology and financial services sectors. This is a contract position based in Jersey City, NJ<\/strong>, for a seasoned professional to join the Architecture and Development department. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting enterprise-wide technology initiatives, defining the architectural vision, and developing solutions that align with the company’s long-term strategic goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This position is for an architect who can take charge of a project’s technical direction from the ground up. You will be responsible for defining the architectural vision<\/strong> and creating a solution architecture that is fully aligned with the enterprise’s broader strategy. This includes describing the solution’s intent and operating environment, and ensuring seamless system interoperability<\/strong>. You’ll work on the fundamental design of systems, determining the primary systems, subsystems, and their interfaces, and you will be a key voice in defining non-functional requirements. A critical part of your job will be to lead the rapid shaping of high-level architecture, ensuring solutions are flexible and modular so they can adapt to the company’s evolving business needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities and Required Skills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Architectural Vision and Strategy:<\/strong> You’ll define the architectural vision and create a solution architecture aligned with the enterprise’s overarching strategy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • System Design and Interoperability:<\/strong> You will determine the primary systems and their interfaces, ensuring they can work together effectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:<\/strong> You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including vendors and service providers, to evaluate strategic design decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Solution Design:<\/strong> You’ll be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that are flexible and modular.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Problem-Solving:<\/strong> You’ll apply strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills to overcome technical challenges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with key technologies and a strong understanding of architectural principles. This includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Oracle Stack:<\/strong> Experience with Oracle Fusion, SQL, PL\/SQL, Exadata<\/strong>, and Golden Gate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Scripting:<\/strong> Proficiency with Linux\/Unix<\/strong> and Shell Scripting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Best Practices:<\/strong> A strong understanding of solution architecture principles and best practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Collaboration:<\/strong> The ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
