This is a 12-month contract position with a hybrid work model, based in New York, NY. This role is not just about development; it&#8217;s about leadership. As an Application Lead, you will be the primary point of contact for a range of projects, responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications that are crucial to the client&#8217;s operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This position is for a subject matter expert who can not only perform technical work but also manage a team and contribute to key strategic decisions. You will be responsible for providing solutions to complex problems, both for your immediate team and across multiple teams. A critical part of your role will be fostering a collaborative environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior team members to help them grow their skills and contribute effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Core Responsibilities and Technical Expertise<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Your primary responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Application Development and Maintenance:<\/strong> You will develop and maintain applications using <strong>Microsoft .NET, Core\/API<\/strong>, and <strong>SharePoint<\/strong> (both On-Premise 2016 and SharePoint Online).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SharePoint Specialization:<\/strong> You will customize SharePoint using a wide range of tools and frameworks, including <strong>SharePoint Designer, scripts, SPFX framework, extensions<\/strong>, and build tools. You will also use the <strong>PnP Framework, PowerShell<\/strong>, and <strong>JSOM<\/strong> for development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Modern Web Development:<\/strong> You will develop front-end applications using <strong>Angular<\/strong> and <strong>React<\/strong>, and work with <strong>SQL<\/strong> databases, <strong>TypeScript, CSS<\/strong>, and <strong>HTML<\/strong> for web development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Microsoft Ecosystem:<\/strong> You will leverage various Microsoft technologies for application development, including <strong>Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft GraphAPI<\/strong>, and <strong>Copilot<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Power Platform and Automation:<\/strong> A significant part of your role will involve creating and managing <strong>Power Platform Apps<\/strong>, including Canvas, Model-Driven, and xrmtoolbox. You will also automate workflows using <strong>Power Automate\/Flow<\/strong> and connectors, as well as <strong>Logic Apps<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Integration and Migration:<\/strong> You will be responsible for integrating applications with other enterprise systems like Workday, SNOW, SAP, and Archer. You will also perform SharePoint content migration using the <strong>Sharegate Migration Tool<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Azure and UI\/UX:<\/strong> You will utilize <strong>Azure services<\/strong>, including App Services, API, functions, and webjobs, and develop modern UI\/UX themes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deployment and Support:<\/strong> You will design and manage all deployments and provide essential application support and maintenance, including change management and release management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Essential Qualifications and Candidate Profile<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in <strong>SharePoint Framework (SPFx)<\/strong>, which is a required skill for this role. Advanced proficiency in <strong>.NET Full Stack Development<\/strong> is highly recommended, while advanced proficiency in <strong>Angular, React.js<\/strong>, and <strong>Microsoft SQL Server<\/strong> is also suggested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a comprehensive and challenging position that requires a highly skilled and adaptable professional.
