This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned QA professional with a strong background in data validation, ETL\/ELT testing, and cloud technologies to contribute to a critical testing function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Role: Ensuring Data Integrity Across the Product Lifecycle<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As a <strong>Data SDET<\/strong>, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of data throughout the product lifecycle. This is a hands-on role that requires a blend of testing expertise, data knowledge, and development skills. You will be tasked with the complete life cycle of the product, from <strong>requirement analysis and test estimation to test planning, design, and execution<\/strong>. A key part of your job will be to create and maintain a <strong>traceability matrix<\/strong> to ensure that all requirements are being met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A significant part of your work will involve working with <strong>Azure Cloud<\/strong>, specifically with <strong>Azure Data Factory (ADF)<\/strong>. You will also need to have experience with <strong>Python, PySpark, and Databricks notebooks<\/strong>. The role requires a strong focus on data testing, including <strong>data conversion, data migration, data transformations, data profiling, data analysis, and data quality validation<\/strong>. You must have hands-on experience in designing and implementing end-to-end data testing strategies and developing data testing automation frameworks. This is not just a manual testing role; it&#8217;s about building scalable, automated solutions that ensure the highest level of data quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Required Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To be successful in this role, you must bring a significant amount of experience and a specific set of skills. We are seeking a professional with at least <strong>6 years of experience in software QA or data validation roles<\/strong>, with a specific focus on <strong>ETL\/ELT testing<\/strong>. This is a core requirement for the position. You must also have at least <strong>5 years of advanced SQL experience<\/strong>, as you will be using it on a daily basis to query and validate data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A minimum of <strong>3 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)<\/strong> is also required. You must have a strong working knowledge of these tools to be successful in the role. Finally, you must have at least <strong>2 years of hands-on experience with Azure Cloud tools<\/strong>, including <strong>ADF, Databricks, and PySpark<\/strong>.
